Now use the 4GB patch on the bio4 file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 4\Bin32. This will completely erase the latest version of re4 and replace it with ver 1.06. Now you want to go replace the bio4 file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 4\Bin32 with the bio4 file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_254700\depot_254701\Bin32 Once it hits around 9.2GB, you should be good. Give this some time because it has to download the game all over again. Now when steam is opened up from that shortcut, there will be a console tab right next to your profile. Closeout of steam completely, Right-click on your Steam shortcut on your desktop, click properties, and on the target line at the end, hit space and add -console and click OK.
